Sleep for Safety Challenge, April 15 – 28
Sleep is an important element of our overall well-being and our safety, too. Building a healthy sleep habit can help to improve memory, reduce stress and lower the risk of injury and illness. So let’s make it a priority in the Sleep for Safety Challenge.
Prioritize your sleep from April 15 through April 28 by trying to get 7 to 9 hours of sleep every night and earn 500 bonus points with your eyes closed. To earn the points, track your daily hours of sleep on the Canada Well-Being platform using the Sleep activity in the Feel category. If you have a connected sleep-tracking device, your hours will be tracked automatically. While the recommendation is to aim for 7 to 9 hours of sleep every night, any amount of sleep counts for this activity as long as you track it.
Throughout the Challenge, you can find tips and resources for creating healthy sleep habits in the Canada Well-Being platform, within the Challenge stream and on the Challenge page (under Explore tab, View All Challenges).
You can also find tips for building better sleep habits and other sleep resources on the Global Well-Being website.
Have a good night!
