Step or Cycle Challenge, June 14 – 28
The health of the planet is closely connected to our own well-being. In fact, the actions we can take to benefit the Earth, like eating more plant-based meals or choosing to walk somewhere instead of drive, also improve your physical and mental health. The more we appreciate nature and take care of the Earth, the better we feel.
To help you give the planet some love, we’re launching the Step or Cycle challenge: choose to walk or bike whenever you are running errands instead of driving, taking the bus or catching an Uber. Make sure to post your time outside to the challenge stream.
Sync a fitness device/app for automatic activity tracking or manually track either Walking and/or Cycling on the Canada Well-Being platform to earn points towards the challenge.
Encourage your spouse and colleagues to join in as well. We can all gain from the benefits of Mother Nature, and we all play a part in keeping our planet safe.
