DCS and EOM/OG employees are eligible to receive an annual contribution from AECOM, which can be used toward health and fitness expenses for you and your eligible dependents. You can choose to direct the money toward a Health Spending Account (HSA), a Personal Spending Account (PSA) or split the balance between the two.
Your annual spending account allocation is:
- $175 if you choose Employee + 1, or Employee + 2 or More coverage in a health care module
- $150 if you choose Employee Only coverage.
You can choose to designate your spending account allocation to your Health Savings Account (HSA), Personal Spending Account (PSA) or split your allocation between the two accounts. If you don’t allocate your spending account contribution to a specific account, it will automatically be contributed to your HSA.
You can make your spending account elections as a new hire and during Benefits Open Enrolment.
Both accounts are administered by Sun Life.
Use the funds you contributed to your HSA and/or PSA in 2019 by December 31, 2020 (otherwise, you’ll lose that money).
- You have until March 31, 2021, to submit claims for expenses incurred in 2020, including any amounts carried over from 2019.
- Unused amounts contributed in 2020 will automatically carry over to 2021 and must be spent by December 31, 2021 (submit claims by March 31, 2022).
