AECOM recognizes regular full-time and regular part-time employees in Canada for successfully obtaining a license that is required by a regulatory body in support of your role at AECOM. Licenses must be earned by exam under the jurisdiction of a provincial authority and be directly applicable to the employee’s position, business line or region.
AECOM provides a one-time salary increase of $2,500 CAD, which is at the sole discretion of the Company, for enhancing your job-related skills and expertise under the First-Time Licensure Program.
Licenses approved under this program are:
- Architect
- Engineer and Geoscientists, as outlined under the Engineering and Geoscientists Professions Act
MAD Awards may be used as recognition for other licenses.
All increases will be reviewed for consistency, and final approval is at the discretion of the business leader and Region Executive.
Regular part-time employees must work at least 20 hours per week to be eligible to participate in this program. Temporary and on-call employees are not eligible to participate in this program.
Process:
- Managers submit the Compensation Change request through Workday and must attach a copy of the license.
- Managers may submit a Business Title Change through Workday, if applicable.
- If a change in job profile and/or career level is being considered, managers must consult their HR Business Partner.
