The following describes AECOM’s sick time policy for DCS hourly employees. DCS salaried employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which includes sick time. AFS employees are eligible for sick time as set out in their employment contract and according to provincial law.
Sick Time for DCS Hourly Employees
DCS hourly employees may take up to 8 company-paid sick days per year, which you can use for a variety of needs including personal illness, family member’s illness, or time off from work to attend medically necessary appointments that cannot be scheduled outside of working hours.
The number of sick days is prorated for part-time employees and those hired after July 1 of any calendar year.
Unused sick days cannot be carried forward from one year to the next.
